ANED
Since 1972, A.N.E.D. – Associazione Nazionale Emodializzati, Dialisi e Trapianto APS, takes care of the nephropathic patients. With its activities, ANED has contributed to improve the lives of many undergoing dialysis or transplant patients, by working to ensure social, civil and health protection.
For 20 years, our Association promotes sport activity as a powerful instrument of redemption from illness, and as proof of the patients desire for life and health. The ANED SPORT Committee is a highly active section of the Association, including a wide delegation of undergoing dialysis and transplant patients.
Our sport activities are also aimed at promoting organ donation and raising public awareness by organizing nationwide events that sees the participation of many athletes from all over Italy, with a strong sense of communality and friendship.
In Rome, the Association carries on a project named “Un Sogno Nel Pallone” (“A Dream in a Ball”), allowing dialyzed and transplanted kid and teenagers to play sports safely, cultivate friendships and face the illness in the best way possible.
