AIRC | Since 1965 with courage against cancer, Fondazione AIRC for cancer research supports innovative scientific projects thanks to clear and constant fundraising, spreading scientific information, promoting prevention cultures in homes, squares and schools. It has 4 and a half million supporters, 20 thousand volunteers and 17 regional committees that guarantee on top of 5000 researchers – 62% of them women and 55 % under 40- the resources necessary to bring in the shortest time possible the results from laboratories to patients. In 55 years of work AIRC distributed over 1.7 billion euros to fund oncology research (data updated as 10 January 2022)
