Acea Run4Rome: the marathon becomes four—for a good cause
Sunday 22 March 2026 is the day running turns into a team sport.
The Acea Run4Rome Relay lets you feel the emotion of the Rome Marathon with an even higher purpose: supporting the Charity Program. The aim is to spotlight social issues and actively back the work of participating ONPs—the lifeblood of Italy’s biggest sporting event.
How it works
Open to everyone: first-timers, walkers, runners, and sports lovers alike. It’s your chance to shine in a day of wellness, fun, and solidarity. Create a team of four. Each person runs one of the four legs (each a different distance; one is open to participants aged 16+), and together you’ll cover 42.195 km. The dream of finishing a major international marathon can come true—as a team!
How to register
Registration is exclusively through one of the charities in the Charity Program, and each charity sets its own participation fee. This isn’t just a fee—it’s a donation to support one of the many projects you can choose to back.
Once you’ve donated, complete your registration on the official website using the code you receive.
Pair your sporting challenge with a charitable one—and win them both!
