ANS PANDAS Italia APS was founded in 2010 to support families with one or more children affected by PANS or PANDAS, neuroinflammatory syndromes that are primarily triggered by autoimmune responses following infections.
The association is also committed to scientific outreach, research, addressing school-related challenges associated with neuroinflammation, building networks of healthcare professionals, facilitating peer support groups, and raising awareness of these syndromes, which are currently undergoing formal recognition.
Recognizing the anti-inflammatory benefits of healthy lifestyles, PANS PANDAS Italia APS actively promotes regular physical activity, healthy nutrition, and social inclusion.
