Since 2015, the association “Una Stanza per un Sorriso – ODV” has been supporting women of all ages undergoing cancer treatment, offering help, strength, and hope throughout the challenging journey of therapy.
Active in many regions across Italy thanks to local branches, representatives, members, volunteers, and professionals, the association provides free activities and consultations to support women—both young and adult—in rediscovering their beauty, strength, and vitality.
Among its most meaningful projects, the association promotes the collection of hair to create oncological wigs, which are donated to women facing hair loss during treatment. A simple yet precious gesture that helps restore self-esteem and confidence during a particularly delicate time.
Since 2022, the association has been bringing prevention directly to local communities through a fully equipped mobile unit, offering free breast and gynecological screenings.
