Back on Saturday 21 March 2026, the Acea Water Fun Run – Saturday 5K is the city fun run linked to Acea Run Rome The Marathon.
Start and finish inside the Circo Massimo after about 5 km of celebration, happiness, wellness, friendship, music, and solidarity.
With family, kids, or friends—walk or run at your own pace, because “freedom” might just be the perfect word.
T-shirt e medal
Open to all ages; no medical certificate for competitive sports is required. Registered participants receive:
- A complimentary technical runner’s T-shirt by Joma
- The finisher medal
- A gym bag with any sponsor products
The Acea Water Fun Run – Saturday 5K believes in giving back. True to the event’s history, it is co-organized with CSV Lazio ETS (Centro di Servizio per il Volontariato), a long-standing partnership that promotes charity and volunteer work with many local associations.
For participating non-profits, the Fun Run is a fundraising opportunity: through the Charity Program, associations can collect entries and retain part of the proceeds to support their activities.
Also joining the celebration is “Un Lavoro da Cani”, a group specializing for over 10 years in canine training, education, and nutrition. Their instructors will be on site to offer free advice on dog behaviour and the human-dog relationship, with obedience demonstrations from our four-legged friends.

Stracanina: “six paws of love” at the Fun Run – Saturday 5K
Stracanina is the six-legged event paired with the Acea Water Fun Run – Saturday 5K, the 5 km city run held in Rome on Saturday 21 March 2026 alongside Acea Run Rome The Marathon.
There’s space for everyone—adults, children, and dogs of every size and breed—for a run or walk that starts and finishes at the majestic Circo Massimo. Entries for Stracanina are open at €4.99 per four-legged friend. Every dog gets a participant bib and a special surprise at the finish in the Circo Massimo.
